Growing up, I was the kind of kid who dressed up in a sparkly leotard and stood on top of the monkey bars, pretending I could fly, so it's no surprise I've always loved reading fantasy stories. While I may technically be a grown-up (my leotard has long since been retired), not much has changed. I’m still reading those stories, only now I’m writing them. I primarily write Young Adult Fantasy, but I have some fun Middle Grade books in the works.

After living all over the country in places, like Los Angeles and Miami with my career prior to writing, I couldn’t agree more with the saying “there’s no place like home.” So here I am back in the beautiful mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania where I get to focus on being a mommy to my incredible little boy. I’ve always been an artist in some form or another, but pursued more of the painting and drawing kind of thing by taking fine art lessons all through school then earning degrees in both Graphic Design and Visual Communications (designing window displays and dressing mannequins). I still love to paint but find all my creativity funneling into my writing these days.

When I’m not writing I’m devouring some sort of book, spending time with my family, snapping pictures, blogging, or experimenting with cooking. You can find out about some of the books I've read recently and loved by visiting my shelves on GoodReads.
